Primary reflections.

Polls close in Pennsylvania in about 10 minutes. I plan to follow the returns on the official Pennsylvania site, though I may decide to join Women for Obama at The Church Brew Works -- we shall see.

As my dinner break wound down, I realized: I've seen Obama T-shirts, stickers and buttons today (and plenty of people have commented on mine) but I have yet to see a single Hillary badge walk through that door. It's probably a statement on how insular this community is.

My favorite moment today: driving through The Hill District, and watching a man standing on the sidewalk, waving an Obama sign at passing, honking motorists. I think it was just a run-of-the-mill polling place type of thing, but still: when was the last time you saw that kind of excitement over a primary? And especially a late primary, like Pennsylvania?

I have to get back to work now. But man am I happy to be a part of this moment in history.

I am not personally aware of a single Hillary voter.

I knew one, though she was more undecided-but-leaning as opposed to actually committed.

Lionel told me this morning that one of our committeemen voted for her. In his words, "My wife went to Bryn Mawr, and I'm too old to sleep on the sofa."

Two words: Secret ballot.

Two more words: Happy birthday!
