Lifted from badrahessa

I know very little about some of the people on my friends list. Some people I know relatively well. (Some I know too well - ha!) I read your journals, or we have something else in common and we chat occasionally. Some of you I hardly know at all. Perhaps you lurk, for whatever reason. But you friended me and I thank you for your interest in my words.

But here's a thought: why not take this opportunity to tell me a little something about yourself. Any old thing at all. Just so the next time I see your name I can say: "Ah, there's so and so...they listen in rapture to the love-music of mud-bears." (Think of it as your Yule present to me.)

I'd love it if every single person who friended me would do this. Yes, even you people who I know really well. Then post this in your own journal and see what gems of knowledge appear.

-I love reading memoirs of crazy Impressionist artists. My favorite book is the compilation of Vincent Van Gogh's letters to his brother.
-I don't like red wine. Or any wine, really. My old boss used to tell me it was just because I "wasn't grown up enough" yet, and eventually I would like it. In my mind, though, wine is just a snootier version of beer but with the same theory - it doesn't ever really taste good (unless it's super expensive), but you work to acquire the taste just to keep up appearances.
-I always end up dating people who have entirely too strong nesting instincts, and it makes me craaaaazy.
-I think that adding a string part to ANY song in ANY genre of music makes it exponentially better.
-I just bought a bag of the new "chocolate and marshamallow" Hershey's kisses hoping they would be amazing, but they're actually pretty gross.

Okay, so that last one wasn't too profound, but there's five things about me!

Beer is much more difficult to make than wine.
