And then today I got the big news: on Thursday, I'll be having my interview for the promotion that I've been eyeing for, oh, close to a year now. From what I understand, competition is pretty stiff. Also on Thursday, immediately before my big interview, I'm having my much-anticipated raise review meeting. We all just got a raise a few weeks ago -- The Co-op raised the base pay for everyone, and gave all employees raises based on that -- so this has the potential to be my second raise in under a month (and hey -- if I get the promotion, that would be my third raise in record time).
It's all just a little overwhelming.
