that's a beautiful pic of the springs. were you actually in the water? it looks like the water's blending with your hair so it's hard to say which is which! very cool. these places really do become a part of us...

it's amazing to see what's changed and what hasn't. changed: that's Ha Ha's?! hasn't: my god, those bike racks are still there!!! they must have already been about fifty years old when we were students. wow.

i heart the student protesters. hooray!

thanks so much for posting these. it looks like a typical muggy YS June. was it?

Ha Ha's had some kind of art exhibit up, made by local children, I believe. Yes, they've got a new paint job, and you can't even really see the big changes inside -- booths where that big wooden bar type thing was -- but rest assured, it still feels just like Ha Ha's.

And yes, I believe I was actually in the water when I took those pictures of myself.

I liked the shot of the bike. I spent two summers in Yellow Springs, so I remember how the campus just goes to the weeds during that period.

Shame to see how they have let the library just fall a part like that.

Thanks for the photos!

Awww....Yellow Springs and Antioch. There are certain things I miss about Antioch and Yellow Springs without a doubt...funny how some things never change.

I'm really glad that I live close enough where driving there once a year is not a huge deal.

Pics of Olive Kettering Library
Wow, so there are still abandoned buildings on campus....I wonder how it happened that the brickwork fell apart? Doesn't seem like that should happen....anyway, thanks for the photos Hope.

Re: Pics of Olive Kettering Library
The brick work was falling apart yes.. but they took it all down in order to build a new wall...It's brand spanking new now..
