Oh cripes

With everything that's happened lately, I totally forgot that today was election day.

It kind of doesn't really matter, as I'm pretty sure that even if only five people in the whole city turn out to vote, Bob O'Connor will still be mayor come tomorrow morning, but I still plan to do my part and be a good hippie and vote for Titus North. I also plan to do what I always do: namely, go to the Planned Parenthood website and vote for whoever the fuck they tell me to. And I know they love Kathryn Hens-Greco as much as I do, so that's good.

So go out and vote, y'all.

I flipped my lever for Mr. North this morning. I was actually all in a quandry last night about who to vote for for mayor because I'm pretty sure that anyone other than Tom Murphy will be an improvement, but I also think that the Democrats have not been running this city terribly effectively and maybe they need some opposition to light a fire under their butts. But I couldn't make myself vote for a Republican. Not even a nice mild mannered moderate Republican because I felt that it would be an endoresement of the party, which is clearly evil.

I stand by my statement: Hell would have to actually freeze for anyone other than Bob O'Connor to win.

Oh you're absolutely correct and I'm happy to see that the laws of nature are still fully intact and that Bob O'Connor is our new mayor. Except for the part where I think he's going to pretty much suck.

Kathryn Hens-Greco was my name-change lawyer. I hope she won.
