Furniture!

Well, for those of you who haven't heard, my Grandmother's apartment finally got sold, and, about an hour ago, I had two pieces of her furniture delivered here: her little couch (to replace the disintegrating little couch she gave me when she moved back in 1998), and a small chair (to replace an equally disintegrating chair that an old Chicago neighbor -- John Firth -- gave me in 1992 or 1993).

So now here I am, getting ready to hit the road for Antioch, and all I can think about is the fact that I have some serious reorganizing to do. This couch is frickin HUGE. HUGE, I tell you. I dragged the coffee table into my bedroom so the movers could squeeze the couch in here and, well, I don't think I should bring it back in here. Not that there's room for it in my bedroom, mind you. Argh. Just sitting here, I can tell that this is a weekend-long project, and, at the moment, I don't have that kind of time.

OK. So here's me not stressing about the furniture situation (Ha!). Ditto for me not stressing about unixd0rk not being online so I could go over last minute cat- and apartment-sitting stuff with him before I hit the road for Ohio (remember all those cat hiding places I showed you? Yea, well, all the furniture is in different places now. D'oh!).

Oh, and six and a half days without a smoke. Could this be why I've gone insane? Yea, maybe.

And mad props to Shannon who found and returned my cigarette pen. I was so freakin bummed that I'd lost it ... yaay for finding it in my mailbox in an envelope covered in worm stickers!
