Making my trip a memorable one.

Well, the good news is that it's not broken ...

As told to bishopjoey on facebook:

"My left ankle. My day: Stepped in a hole in the pavement and went down with a bang. Cops showed up and everything. Went and did that Ultimate Tour anyway. Made it through three of six hours. The steps down from Prague Castle finally did me in. Ate lunch with the group, then called a cab. Spent the rest of my afternoon at Nemocnice Na Františku s poliklinikou. Home in a cab. Bandaged for at least a fortnight. On crutches for the next while."

The part I left out:

When they had me take off my shoe and sock for the x-ray, OMG did it look gross! I think it was just really badly swollen on the one side, but it made it look completely dislocated and effed up. That freaked me out almost as much as anything. I was really surprised when he said it wasn't broken.

Ack!

I bet Prague is beautiful even on crutches, though!
